Mid Atlantic Region Charter Schools

MID ATLANTIC REGION CHARTER SCHOOL IS A CONCEPT THAT UTILIZES REPURPOSED

URBAN SITES THAT HAVE A SMALL FOOT PRINT.  THESE BUILDINGS WILL HOUSE UP TO 1000 STUDENTS

THIS DESIGN INCORPORATES ORGANIC FORMS BREAKING FROM THE GRID LOCK OF THE

URBAN FABRIC OF MOST CITIES IN THE REGION.  THE CONCEPT KEEPS PART OF THE SITE OPEN,

VISUALLY AS WELL AS PHYSICALLY.  THIS ALLOWS FOR THE   MAJOR USES OF THE SCHOOL, FOOD SERVICE, MULTIPURPOSE ROOMS, MEDIA CENTERS AND CLASSROOMS TO CONNECT DIRECTLY WITH OUTDOOR SPACES THAT CAN BE USED AS LEARNING CENTERS YEAR ROUND

THESE FACILITIES CAN RANGE FROM 60,000 SQ FT TO 80,000 SQ FT.
